Interior Drainage Solutions.
Drainage systems are used to relieve water pressure that builds-up below the basement floor. This hydrostatic pressure, without an interior drainage system, would force the water into the basement. Our solution relieves the pressure and directs the water to a sump pump which is then safely discharged away from the house. A drainage system is placed below the basement floor, next to the footing of the foundation. It is used to relieve hydrostatic pressure and displace the water before it can rise, to infiltrate the basement.
Exterior French Drain Solutions.
Water always flows downhill, and by the easiest route possible. That's the basic concept behind a French drain, a slightly sloped trench filled with round gravel and perforated pipe that's used to divert underground water away from your house. When water accumulates somewhere around your foundation and the ground begins to saturate, pressure builds - hydrostatic pressure. Many times hydrostatic pressure builds below the foundation (basement) floor. Under pressure, water will find the path of least resistance and will cause basement flooding. One resolution to this problem is a drainage system. This waterproofing system is designed to pop the pressure bubble that has been building under the basement floor and provide a path for the potential flood water to drain to prior to flooding the basement.
